Owner, Patty Barnes, previous co-owner of the health food store Rocky Mt Natural Store, created All Natural Creations after discovering that many so-called natural skin care products contained parabens and phthalates ingredients of concern to the health-related community. In 1999 she became dedicated to only offering all natural skin care products in her store that were parabens and phthalates free. Not always easy considering that many nature skin care products offered by her distributors were not all that clean. In 2000, when Patty learned that she was to become a grandma, she took that big step; learning to make her own clean all natural skin care products, starting with developing her own salves and soap recipes, Patty soon expanded into natural face creams, lotions, shampoos and hair conditioners; making sure she used only the safest and cleanest ingredients available. During the development of the skin care products, her association with her customers and other professionals offering valuable feedback, became indispensable. Many of All Natural Creations products were developed for specific customer needs.
Patty continually checks the safety of the ingredients she uses with the Environmental Working Groups' Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Data Base, changing her ingredients as needed if the EWG questions its safety. All Natural Creations has been a member of the Compact for Safe Cosmetics since March 2007.
